Statement of Faith

 

Doctrinal and Denominational differences can separate us, but the following statement is based on essential Biblical principles upon which most Jesus’ disciples can agree. 

 

 

I believe Jesus is God, the living Word, who became flesh.  

 

I believe He voluntarily atoned for my sin by dying on the cross.  

 

I believe He rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father.  

 

I believe in the Holy Spirit as a divine Person, sent to inhabit, guide and empower believers.

 

I believe that salvation is a work of God’s free grace and is not the result f human works, “being good” or taking part in religious ceremonies.

 

The basis of my belief is the Bible, the inspired Word of God found in the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments.

 

I believe in God, and I believe God.

 

I believe that Jesus Christ is coming again.

 

I believe that I will live with Him forever.
